He draws from influences such as Jonny Lang, Keith Urban, The Eagles, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Bryan Adams, The Warren Brothers, Bad Company, The Black Crowes, and Matchbox 20. Brent has developed his sound, solid guitar playing, and riveting live performances through constant touring over the past decade. As exhibited by his 6th place finish on Nashville Star in 2004, his Top 36 finish on American Idol in 2009, and many other career accolades, Brent has a demanding presence and quiet confidence that effortlessly grabs your attention and makes it hard to look away.
